The DINAcon HACKnight is about contributing to open projects in a fun, hands-on way, for people of all levels of technical skill. Inspired by hackathons and hackergartens, we especially encourage you to bring issues and questions about any of the projects shortlisted or otherwise presented at DINAcon 2021. All proposals to start or improve or support open source projects are welcome.

The challenges posted here will be announced at the event start at 18:00. Experienced developers will be available on hand to guide you through your first bug report or code commit! In our online and offline event, ☕ refreshments and 🤖 motivation will be provided. Projects that demonstrate dedication and potential to their hacks may be offered additional time, room, crowdsourcing and other support to continue by the DINAcon community. Projects may be posted and remote submissions are welcome until 18:00 the next day. If you have feedback or suggestions, please use the community forum on this page, or raise an issue on GitHub. There you can also find some goodies, like the official wallpaper. See you at the HACKnight!

Chat with us here or write an e-mail if you have any questions.
